BUDDY GARDNER RE-BRAND
Buddy Gardner is a small advertising agency that approached me to do a re-brand of their logo and create a cleaner, more approachable logo. This agency specializes in growing small businesses and working with them on everything from copy to website design.
Buddy Gardner Advertising approached me to do a re-design of their current logo above. This was designed years ago and hasn't changed since. The logo was originally meant to portray a technical business that helps you grow.
Unfortunately, the logo tried to do too much and became extremely cluttered and the square shape makes this seem more like a secondary image than a primary logo.
The requirements for this re-design were simple; Maintain the imagery of "nurturing growth" but create a more streamlined logo that offers a professional feel. Because this is a small startup, another requirement was to have the logo seem approachable. Something too sharp wouldn't jive with what Buddy Gardner Advertising is going for.
